The original classic Japanese futon mattress with pure cotton is still one of Japan's favorite mattresses as it has been for over 3000 years. The futon mattress is often used on Tatami food on the floor in Japan, but here in Scandinavia with Tatami Coco. A solid and very airy futon mattress, built according to an old Japanese principle of skilled craftsmen in Poland. We have over time learned that it is best if you sleep on your back or your stomach and that many of our customers become addicted to this Futon mattress once they get used to it. As often, our customers change the Futon mattress after 5-8 years. The futon mattress should preferably be turned over and tapped regularly. From new on, the mattress is 13-14 cm. thick. But the cotton is nevertheless compressed because of body moisture, so it will slowly take body shape, it is a good idea to take it out and knock it in the sun once a year to dry it, to extend its life.
