For start-up, periodic shock treatment and daily disinfection.
Quick Chlorine ∼ Unstabilized chlorine or calcium hypochlorite, which is the correct term, does not add stabilizer (cyanuric acid) to the pool, which therefore cannot get a chlorine lock. By using unstabilized chlorine to disinfect the pool, a number of advantages are achieved - i.a. no extra water replacement due to overstabilization, crystal clear water with a high level of hygiene, large bathing chamber, reduced total addition of chemicals to the water, no accumulation of cyanuric acid in the water, etc.
The amount of necessary disinfectant depends on the water's pH value, temperature and purity. Higher doses are needed for hot water as well as pools exposed to high solar radiation. With high activity and when more polluting elements enter the pool water (leaves, grass, sunscreen, cosmetics and hair), higher doses of care products are also required.
It can only be recommended that you test the current chlorine value in the water. You easily measure the water's current chlorine value with the Chlorine Pool tester as a (Lovibond® Pool tester chlorine/pH - Tablet tester Chlorine / pH (hand shaker) Measures the water's amount of chlorine and pH value)
