Wood:
The natural wood used in Karup Design furniture features visible knots, giving each piece its own personality and character. No two are exactly alike. Expect natural ageing over time when exposed to air, moisture, and light – this is part of the beauty of solid wood.
General wood care:
Avoid placing hot items directly on the furniture. Do not place candles directly on the surface. Wipe up spills immediately using a damp cloth. Regularly check that all fittings are properly tightened and adjust when necessary.
Fabric:
Our MIX fabric is made from 80% cotton and 20% polyester. For spot cleaning, use a damp, colourless cloth with a small amount of clear dish soap. Gently rub the affected area, then blot with a dry cloth or paper towel to absorb moisture.
