Storage: Keep your Tatami mats dry to prevent mustiness and mold. Wipe them with a well-wrung cloth without harsh cleaning agents. Gentle vacuuming is an option, using the lowest setting and moving only in the direction of the rice straws to avoid damage.

Moisture and Circulation: Tatami mats are sensitive to moisture, so ensure circulation either above or below them. Clean and air the Tatami occasionally, preferably leaning against a wall. Dry and sunny days are optimal for airing Tatami mats.

Fabric Material: Our mix fabric is 80% cotton and 20% polyester. Clean only with a dry cloth to avoid stains. Maintain your Tatami fabric with simple care to preserve its beauty.
