The Fresh Futon Sofa from Karup is a sturdy, flexible, and stylish solution that combines a sofa and a bed in one functional piece of furniture. With its clean lines and low profile, Fresh adds a modern and light touch to any living room, guest room, or summer home.

In the upright position, Fresh works as a comfortable futon sofa. By simply lifting the frame, the sofa can easily be rolled on its practical wheels, allowing you to rearrange your space as needed. When the frame is released, the sofa quickly transforms into a soft and comfortable 140×200 cm bed – perfect for overnight guests or daily use.

All Karup futon products come with a futon mattress included, and you have the option to choose the color of the outer fabric. The cover is not removable, and we always recommend seeing the fabric in person before making your choice.

The Fresh Futon Sofa is handmade, which means slight variations in dimensions and weight may occur – a natural feature of authentic craftsmanship.

Materials & Care – Karup Natural Wood and Fabric

Karup furniture in natural wood is known for its authentic expression and unique character. Knots, wood grain, and natural variations give each piece its own personality – no two pieces are exactly alike. Over time, the wood’s surface will naturally develop as it is exposed to air, light, and humidity, enhancing the piece’s natural and honest character.

To maintain the quality of the furniture, follow general wood care guidelines: avoid placing hot objects or candles directly on the surface, wipe up spills immediately with a slightly damp cloth, and regularly check that screws and fittings are securely tightened.

The cover is made from Karup mix fabric, consisting of 80% cotton and 20% polyester. The fabric is durable, comfortable, and suitable for everyday use. For optimal fabric care, clean only with a dry cloth to avoid stains.

Because comfort and fabric feel vary from person to person, we always recommend seeing the fabric in person and trying the mattress before making your final choice. This ensures you select the solution that best suits your needs and comfort.
