Saniklar pH-plus is used to raise the pH value of the water. Perfect pool water requires a pH value between 7.0 - 7.4. Too low a pH makes the water aggressive towards the metal parts of the pool, and too high a pH can cause lime deposits and the water to become white and cloudy. Within the pH range 7.0 - 7.4, the water is weakly alkaline, and you get the optimal beneficial effect of the addition of chlorine.
