Water Balance Pools
Pool water is affected every day by both inorganic and organic substances, which after a short time will make the water cloudy and unhygienic if the water is not supplied with care products. With an effective filter system and water care products, you can keep the water in the pool clear and clean all the time.
The most important factor for balancing the pool water is a correctly adjusted pH value. Often pH is given less importance for the prevention of the various water problems such as e.g. algae growth, irritation of the skin and eyes, cloudy and cloudy water.
Correct pH is crucially important for an effective disinfection, flocking process as well as the effect of other care products, which are designed for optimal effect at neutral pH (as close to 7.0 as possible).
The first thing you must do in all water care is to measure the current pH value in the water and, if necessary, adjust with PH UP or PH DOWN to the desired neutral value. You can easily measure the water's current pH value with the pH and Chlorine Pool tester.
In Denmark, the water contains a lot of lime and is therefore often very alkaline (hard water). When the water is hard and has a high pH value above 7.4, PH DOWN is added. If the water has a low pH value below 7.0, PH UP is added.
